The terrifying old haunted house

Malolelei bolgging world,
Today I will be sharing my writing with you and it is called The  terrifying old abandoned haunted house. I hope you enjoy it.

Behind the old rusty steel fence sits a dark abandoned mansion. As I was walking to collect candy for halloween I saw something dark in the corner of my eye something that was standing about 3 stories high. The dark mansion gave me the impression that I should have followed the Keep Out sign. So I walked up to the gate and I quietly opened it so no one could hear me or think that I am a intruder or a trespasser.

I saw a white light in the house turn on and I saw shadows in the corridor, I started to shiver, my teeth were chattering and I even saw goosebumps on my arm.

I heard the wind howling and tree branches were banging together then in the distance I heard someone talking and so I thought it was the caretaker then I heard it again and it said “Go away, get out of here.” and the house began to creak, everything was getting curiouser and curiouser wolves were howling at the bright moon and I even saw bats flapping its wings towards me. Then I heard it again “AROOO” I began to shake.

HEHEHEHEHE the noise came from the house HEHEHEHE it was a witch cackling and I even saw the witch flying on her broomstick thumbing for a hitch. The wind began to hitch the house to pitch and so I saw a cemetary at the side of the house and people were coming back from the dead zombie walking towards me.

And so I wondered was there ghosts in there? So I quickly walked to the other houses.

No wonder why the bushes were dead  and the leaves on the tree weren’t there and even the grass was dead.

The twilight moon was bright so bright that it could be a light but the grey clouds were slowly covering the bright twilight moon and that was the end of my halloween night. THE END.

I hope you enjoyed this piece of writing I wrote I hope you don't get nightmares or anything like that, blog ya later bloggers.

How to turn your teacher into a toad

Fakalofalahiatu bloggers,
Today I will be sharing my writing with you it is called how to turn your teacher into a toad! if you really hate your teacher you must try this recipe to get rid of her. I hope you relax and enjoy my writing.
Now you will need...
  • 3 butterflies
  • 15 mosquito's
  • 2 teaspoons of your spit
  • 5 fish fins
  • a caldron
  • 10 slugs
  • 4 snail shells
  • 1 bold eagle feather
  • 6 sticky slimes
  • and 5 cups of water
Method
  1. turn the fire of the cauldron up high
  1. chuck in the slugs
  1. rip the wings of the butterflies and throw them in
  1. squash the snail shells and drop them in
  1. drop everything in there all at once
  1. stir the ingredients slowly and continuously
when the colour turns from red to blue your potion/spell is finally ready.
Now you can forward it to your stingy, greedy, selfish mean teacher.

I hope you enjoyed my piece of writing, blog you later. And for your information I wouldn't try this if I were you because I just made it up and I don't think it will even work

Swimming

Talofa Lava bloggers,

Summer is nearly here and we are about to begin our swimming lessons at Cameron pools so that we know how to stay safe around water at all times.

Today I will be talking about swimming. It is really important to have a buddy so you can look after each other and if you and your buddy might get in trouble and maybe drown you always need a adult with you at all times even if you think you are old enough and you don't want them. And if you can't swim properly you need the water to be at your thighs and if you are a professional swimmer you can have the water above your waist.

You need to learn how to swim because... if you don't swim you might drown somewhere because there is water everywhere in New Zealand and because if you are a kid and you make up lies just because you don't want to swim when you get older you won't be good at swimming in fact you won't be able to swim at all because you can't.

Now you know what you need and what to do when you re swimming in the pool or the beach anywhere with water that you can swim in. And before I end this blog post I am going to show you me and my friends swimming presentation slides.

Now here is me and my friends link to our Swimming presentation.

I hope you enjoyed my blog post and swimming slides, blog you later.

The Great Wall Of China

Ni Hao bloggers,
Did you know that this week is Chinese Language Week? Obviously you know that we have all been busy with our production so we didn't have enough time to learn new stuff about China or the Great Wall Of China. But today we did just a little bit of new learning about the Great Wall Of China.

 I learnt that...

  •  the Emperor decided that people should build a Great Big Wall for China so that the enemies can't use swords of sears to attack the Chinese people behind the Great Wall.

  •  I learnt that the Great wall started to break into pieces and started to disappear.
  • and I also learnt that the Great Wall Of China was not built by expensive machines it was handmade, made by people (which might have been hard for them to build a Great Big Wall for China).
I now have  questions involving the Great Wall Of China, my questions are...

How many people came to the Great Wall Of China to take a look?

Where did the emperor live?

and when the the Great Wall Of China Start to fall apart and start to disappear?

Thank you for reading I hope you enjoyed.

Letter to Mrs Butler

Malolelei bloggers,

Yesterday Mrs Butler came to Harris Class to work with us. We looked at a poem from called "Did you ever...?" my Nathan Reed.

Mrs Butler told us to write two poems just like Nathan Reed which included adding in three verbs and three nouns for two poems.

Here are my poems
Did you ever tell scary stories at night in the dark with your cousins?
forehead sweating
arms shaking
eyes closing.
Try it.

Did you ever have someone jump out from the corner and say "BOO"?
eyes twitching
heart pounding
eyes watering.
I loathe it.

Thank you for reading I hope you enjoyed see you later.

The night when I couldn't sleep

We were learning to describe a time when we couldn't sleep.
Here is my writing.

My eyes were open wide but I was really tired. The clock was ticking, the wind was howling, crickets were chirping,my dad was snoring but worst of all the baby was crying all night. The worst bit was I was next door to the baby's room. He even started screaming how frustrating! "WAAH" "WAAH" the baby kept on crying and crying. It was so irritating I wondered will I get enough sleep? I covered my ears with my pillow but the baby's crying was so loud that I could still hear it.

Suddenly the crying stopped for a moment. My eyes were heavy, my eyes were slowly closing then... the crying started again. My eyes were red. I was getting so annoyed. I was so annoyed that I really wanted to say shut up!!! people need some sleep around here! that's how frustrated I was. The wind started howling again, the tree's were smashing onto the window but the baby was still crying so I thought to myself again will it ever stop?

Please leave a comment and what you think i can approve on.
Thank you I hope you enjoyed.
